Guide for Career Fair

The Career Fair Guides will be available closer to the event. 

Student Check List

  1. Please login into Handshake and REGISTER for the career fair. This gives employers a better idea of who will be attending and they can view student and alumni Handshake profile page.

  2. Please sign up for an onsite Interview if it pertains to your program. Interviews are always good practice and having the opportunity to complete one on campus is an excellent opportunity.

  3. What to wear: Dress to impress. Dress professionally for your industry.
  4. RESEARCH.  Employers expect you to be prepared.
    • Log into your Handshake Account by clicking on the Handshake icon in your Launchpad account.  Go to Events, and Fall Career Fair.
    • Once there, you can view all the job listings that employers are posting ahead of time.
    • Know who you want to talk to, where they will be, and when they will be there.
  5. Resumes: 

    • Started polishing your resume.  If you would like someone in Career Services to review your resume please email Career Services and attach your resume the week before the event.

    • Bring copies of your Resume to the event.
